Duplicate only the same screen: Sends high-definition audio and video from your computer to an HDTV screen for video streaming or gaming via HDMI; Connect your monitor and configure it for an extended desktop or mirrored displays. When connected to the monitor, the sound does not go through the adapter to the HDMI/VGA/DVI monitor (a speaker is needed to get audio out); only when connected to the TV HDMI port can audio output be available, VGA and DVI ports require a speaker to get audio out.

Duplicate only the same screen on external monitors: DisplayPort connector with locks provides a secure connection with a release button that must be pressed before unplugging. Not compatible with USB ports.
