NOTES: This is NOT a bidirectional converter. It only transmits the signal from HDMI to VGA, not reversible from VGA device to HDMI monitors. Therefore, this cable functions as a signal transmitter but NOT a signal converter. Since HDMI transmits digital signals while VGA / RCA carries analogue signals, to ensure these two signal formats communicate, both input and output devices must support the signal conversion function (encode and decode). If both input/output devices do not support signal conversion, a signal conversion box is required. In many cases, a converter is needed with a VGA connection on one side and an HDMI connection on the other so that the following principle can be created: VGA-VGA + converter + HDMI to HDMI.
