- You must remove your Switch or controller cases to charge.
- You need an AC adapter (not included and not supplied) to power both the Nintendo Switch console dock and the rest of the charging station, which has a separate port to connect that extra adapter..
- There is no HDMI port to connect to the docking system, so you cannot play while charging. 
- The Nintendo Switch charger cannot power this dock.
