DrPhone has re-released the famous DTX smartwatch from the original series. The new DTX Ultra is improved, with better hardware and features.

The watch is equipped with a 1.36-inch AMOLED display. This stylish smartwatch features watch faces, heart rate monitoring, blood pressure, multisport modes, a built-in speaker and microphone for calls and Voice Assistant. It is also IP68 waterproof.

Design and build quality
The DTX Ultra Smartwatch has a round screen with curved edges, a rotatable physical button, and just below the button you will find the microphone and speaker. The casing is mostly slim and light. It is made of a good aluminium alloy, 45 mm long, 11 mm thick and weighs no more than 50 g. It fits comfortably on your wrist.

Display
One of the strong points of this smartwatch is the screen. The 1.36-inch AMOLED panel with 2.5D curved edges delivers better content and detail display, thanks to a resolution of 390x390 pixels with a high refresh rate. This smartwatch has one of the best screens in terms of size and resolution. Colours and brightness are good, even in sunlight.

Ultra watch faces
The DrPhone DTX Ultra Smartwatch has many different watch faces you can use. You can switch by long-pressing the home screen or using the FitCloudPro app. There are more watch faces with customization options available.

Water resistance
The DrPhone DTX Ultra Smartwatch is IP68 waterproof, allowing you to wear it while washing hands or on rainy days.

The watch is not approved for swimming but can be worn during other activities. It is advisable not to expose it to heat, water or salt water to prevent damage. It is better to avoid this, but if it does happen, dry the watch before using it again.

Under the hood
The DTX Ultra Smartwatch is powerful and energy-efficient thanks to the built-in Realtek RTL8762DT chip. The secondary chip uses JieLi HN333, which enables a more stable Bluetooth connection. The watch has 32 MB storage, allowing it to be equipped with more watch faces. This device has a heart rate sensor and a G-sensor, so it can track your movements and monitor your health.

Calling function on the DrPhone DTX Ultra
The main feature of the DTX Ultra Smartwatch is that it is equipped with a microphone and speaker, so it not only displays incoming calls but can also receive and make calls via Bluetooth directly from the watch with HD speakers and microphone, and of course this works with your smartphone, so you don’t have to take your phone out of your pocket to answer a simple call.

Notifications
Notifications are clearly visible and easy to read. The DTX Ultra Smartwatch supports various popular apps for notifications, such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, SMS, WeChat and other apps. You can also receive call or message notifications, and do many other things like stopwatch, alarm, calendar, reminders, camera remote to take selfies, and control audio from your watch.

Battery life and charging time
The battery size of the DTX Ultra is a plus: you get 300 mAh, which is enough for 15 days. This can be achieved by turning off the heart monitor, disabling notifications and reducing other functions. The DrPhone DTX Ultra will last at least 7 days with heart rate monitoring and notifications on. Charging is via a magnetic charger and takes about 2 hours.

How to pair the DrPhone DTX Ultra with a smartphone?
It is easy to connect the DTX Ultra Smartwatch to your phone. After installing and configuring the FitCloudPro app, you only need to do the following:

1. Turn on Bluetooth on the watch and the mobile phone.
2. Click Add Device in the APP settings to connect the watch with the APP.
3. iPhone users must agree to app notification permissions. Android users must agree to all notification permissions, such as contacts, and agree to app background operation in settings.
4. Once this is done, it communicates directly and easily, with automatic setting of time and language, weather, alongside a phone function, and updates the smartwatch software if available.
