Tips:
1. Connect the device to the direct USB port on your computer. If you connect it to a USB hub or extension cables, the driver may not be recognised.
2. For desktop computers, connect the USB cable directly to the USB interface at the back of the computer host, not the front.
3. Make sure the laptop has sufficient power, low power supply may cause the external CD drive not to work.
4. Make sure your computer has "Media Player" software before playing audio or movies. 5. People using Windows 10 and Windows systems are highly advised to install "VLC Media Player" to play DVD/CD.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q1: CD not recognised.

A: This is caused by disabling the auto-run of the CD drive. Enable the auto-run function via the computer's control panel.

Q2: Is it possible to change the region code?

A: You can change it up to 5 times. After opening Control Panel System and Security from Start, click Device Manager in the System section. The drive you are currently using is displayed under the item named DVD/CD-ROM drives. You can change this by right-clicking and selecting the DVD region in the menu.

Q3: CD stuck

A: 1. This can happen if there is insufficient power supply, you must connect the DVD drive to the USB port on the laptop. Also connect the item to the USB port at the back of the computer host if you use a desktop.
2. Check if the CD is not scratched and not deformed.
3. Eject CD by clicking the eject button on the computer.

Q4: Driver not recognised by the computer or it cannot play the CD properly.

A: 1, the DVD drive must be connected to a USB port on the laptop instead of a USB HUB. Also connect the item to the USB port at the back of the computer host if you use a desktop.
2. Make sure the CD is properly placed and not scratched.
3. Ensure built-in practical driver software. Or try it with another computer.
4. Set the area code based on different regions.

Q5: It is very noisy.

A: Some DVDs are thicker than normal discs, it is a normal phenomenon with a bit of noise. But make sure the CD is properly placed and not scratched.

Q6: Problems with burning

A: Blank CD is not formatted, download software NERO to complete the setting and add something you want to burn. Usually works well with CDs in the format: WAV, MP3, MP4, etc.
