What is an SSD and what is RAM?

SSD (Solid State Drive):
An SSD is a lightning-fast storage solution without moving parts. It provides fast boot times, reliable performance and lower energy consumption. In the ION2, Windows 11 Pro is installed on the SSD for maximum speed.

RAM (Random Access Memory):
RAM is your computer's temporary memory that ensures smooth operation of active programs. 16GB DDR4 RAM is ideal for intensive applications and multitasking. DDR4 is faster and more energy-efficient than its predecessor DDR3.
