Technical explanation

The thermometer has a measuring range of 32.0 to 42.9 °C for body temperature and 0 to 100 °C for objects. Laboratory accuracy is ±0.2 °C for body temperature and ±1.0 °C for objects. The result appears within approximately one second on the illuminated LCD screen.
