Tips:
1. Do not use a HUB or USB extension cable
2. The device must be connected to the USB 3.0 port of the computer

4. It is normal that the recording image and the original screen do not fully synchronise.

The HDMI Video Capture Card acts as a bridge between your HDMI device (such as a console or camera) and your computer. Below I explain step by step how to connect and use the device.

Connecting & Using

1. Connect the HDMI device to the Capture Card

   • Input (HDMI IN): Here you connect an HDMI cable from the device you want to record or stream. This can be a game console (PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch), camera, DVD player or security camera.

2. Connect the Capture Card to your computer

   • Output (USB 3.0): Connect the supplied USB 3.0 cable to the capture card and connect it to a USB 3.0 port on your PC or laptop.
   • The computer automatically recognises the capture card as a video input (like a webcam).
   • You do not need extra drivers (Plug & Play).

3. Optional: HDMI Loop-Out for live image without delay

   • Some models have an HDMI Loop-Out port. This means you can connect an extra HDMI cable to a monitor or TV, so you can watch the game or video without delay while recording.

4. Connect audio (optional)

   • Want to add live commentary during a game or presentation? Then connect a 3.5 mm TRS microphone to the capture card. (Note: Works only with TRS microphones (standard 3.5 mm, no combined headset plug TRRS).

5. Record or stream via software

   • Open a compatible program such as OBS Studio, VLC, QuickTime or PotPlayer.
   • Select the capture card as video input.
   • Set the resolution and frame rate (for example 1080P 60FPS).
   • Start recording or live streaming to platforms like YouTube, Twitch or Facebook Live.
