DrPhone eArc Pro is a high-performance HDMI 2.0 Switch eARC Audio Extractor. The extractor features 2x HDMI input and 1x HDMI output ports with an audio out port. The HDMI / Toslink and 3.5mm jack audio outputs all support the audio extract function. The Audio port, HDMI / Toslink and Coaxial ports support ARC (Audio Return Channel). The audio-only port supports eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel). The system supports all 3D TV formats alongside all HDTV formats up to 4K x 2K @ 60Hz/120Hz RGB 8:8:8.

There are 2 eArc models available: the eArc Ultra and the eArc Pro. Below you can see the differences.

eArc Pro: comes with various ports such as the HDMI 2.0B input (1x) and output (1x) port with HDCP 2.2 and 4K @ 60Hz support. The HDMI Audio extractor eArc port (1x) supports 7.1 channel audio. The normal Arc supports 5.1 channel audio with the coaxial and optical toslink port. The Arc Pro supports RGB 8:8:8 (7.1 Channel Dolby Atmos), EDID and HDR 10.

eArc Ultra: comes with various ports such as the HDMI 2.0B input (2x) and output (1x) port with HDCP 2.2 and 4K @ 60Hz support. The HDMI Audio extractor eArc port (1x) supports 7.1 channel audio. The normal Arc supports 5.1 channel audio with the coaxial and optical toslink port. The Arc Ultra supports RGB 8:8:8 (7.1 Channel Dolby Atmos), EDID and HDR 10. The eArc Ultra also comes with an infrared remote control.

• HDMI (AUDIO ONLY)/coaxial/optical toslink SPDIF audio output supports the audio return channel function (ARC)
• AUDIO ONLY HDMI supports eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel)
• 3.5mm Jack port output supports the audio extract function but does not support ARC/eARC
• Supports: 480i/480p/576i/576p/720p @ 50/60Hz/1080p @ 50/60Hz/4K x 2K @ 30/60/120Hz with 24bit RGB 8:8:8 / YCbCr4:4:4 (4k @ 60Hz YUV 4:4:4).
• Max bandwidth per channel: 600MHz. Max baud rate per display: 18.5Gbps
• Compatible with HDR 10, HDMI 2.0b, HDCP 2.3/2.2/1.4/1.3/1.2/1.1.
• DrPhone HDMI Switch supports : LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby True-HD, DTS-HD, AC3, DTS, DSD, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Atmos audio formats. Note that the extractor cannot decode these audio formats. If your amplifier or soundbar does not support the above audio formats, no sound will come from the soundbar or speakers. We advise in the above situation to change the audio format to PCM/LPCM in the HDMI audio source.
• With the HDMI Audio Extractor with Optical TOSLINK SPDIF + Coax + 3.5mm + HDMI audio ports you can extract sound from the HDMI input source (such as PS5/PS4/Xbox/Apple TV/Android Box etc) to the output source.
• HDMI ARC/eARC switch Adapter - Extracts Audio from TV to Soundbar or Amplifier. Connect your TV HDMI (ARC/eARC) Port with the HDMI output of the eArc extractor using an HDMI cable. You can then use one of the following ports to connect this to your soundbar or amplifier: optical/coaxial/HDMI. Then press the Arc/eArc button found on the eArc extractor to activate the function.
• HDMI input is compatible with any HDMI device. Think of PS5/PS4/Roku/Fire TV/Blu-ray players/Apple TV/Xbox/Nintendo Switch/PS4 Pro/Xbox 360/Xbox One X/PS3/Projector/Laptop and other HDMI signal sources.
• HDMI video/audio output: connect this port to your monitor, TV, projector. HDMI audio / SPDIF / Coax / 3.5mm audio output: Receiver, Amplifier, Speaker, Headphones and other audio devices.
• The extractor supports 24bit deep colour per channel (Friendly Note: the extractor is not compatible with DVI. We advise connecting an HDMI to DVI cable to the respective projector/monitor to get it working)
• We advise using quality HDMI cables with at least: HDMI 2.0 AWG 26(19 + 1) standards. The distance can be up to 5 metres with a resolution of 4K @ 60Hz. If you use an 8 metre cable it can go up to 4K @ 30Hz.
