Notes: Connect it directly to the USB or Type C port of your computer. If connected to the USB hub or extension cords, it may not recognise the driver or read the CD/DVD.

- Connect the device to a direct USB port on your computer (rear) (If your computer does not recognise the external device, first check the power supply, the drive requires a 3-5V (1.3-2A) output from the USB port of your computer) Desktop PC must be connected to the USB interface at the back for use, as the USB port at the front of the PC is extended and the power supply is insufficient.

- The newly released Windows system has stopped the internal DVD media player software, customers using Windows 10 and above are advised to install a media player to play DVDs and CDs.

- This CD burner is a normal USB DVD drive, not a blu-ray DVD drive, so it cannot play blu-ray discs

- For Mac OS, the DVD drive icon appears after the drive has read the disc. So after you insert a disc into the drive, the DVD icon does not appear immediately.
