Our HDMI adapter can work with the new firmware 5.0.1. But if you are updating firmware 5.0.1, do not connect your Switch console with our HDMI adapter. You can connect our HDMI adapter to your Switch console after you have completed the update.
How to use:
Connect the power supply to the adapter
Connect HDMI and turn on the TV/display.
Go to the home screen and remove the joy-cons before inserting the HDMI hub into the Switch.
