F.A.Q:
1. Why do I get no response when connecting MacBook/MacBook Air to the monitor with this USB C to HDMI cable?

The external Mac monitor offers users two different simultaneous display modes, one is the traditional projection method and the other is to switch between separate monitor screens between the two devices. This USB C to HDMI cable is compatible with MacBook/MacBook Air, but sometimes your computer is in the second mode (i.e., extended mode). When you connect, your monitor shows your desktop background (mistakenly thinking there is no response), then you need to change your computer's setting to mirror mode, the specific steps are as follows:

Click Settings—Click Monitor—Check the "Display mirroring" option in the menu bar at the bottom left corner (if available) - simultaneously check the "mirror display" in the arrangement and then you can use it normally

2. What should I do if there is no response after connecting?
-Make sure your monitor is set to the correct HDMI input source.
-Make sure your laptop or mobile phone supports USB-C with DP Alt mode.
-Check if the display requires manual input source switching.
-Ensure the cable is firmly connected on both ends.
-Try another computer or HDMI cable to check if the problem is resolved.

3. Can the cable work bidirectionally? Does it charge a laptop when used to monitor with this single cable?
-NO. This cable is one-way. The monitor must be HDMI and the laptop/phone/tablet etc. must be USB-C and this HDMI cable converts the audio and video signal, not for charging.

4. Does this work on every phone USB type C to transfer the screen to a projector?
-
Only if the device can output video through that port.
