Descaling / Maintenance:
Drinking water varies by region. The lime particles in hard drinking water deposit as residues in the machine and can damage the pipes. To prevent this, you should descale the machine at least after making 300 to 400 cups of coffee or, at least if the output significantly decreases or, after one or two months. Descaling must be done correctly to avoid damage. It is therefore essential to follow these instructions.

Important:
- Never clean the machine with vinegar. This causes damage and makes your coffee taste bad.
- Damage caused by incorrect descaling or not descaling is not covered by the warranty.
Caution: beware of hot water!
1. Recommendations: buy commercially available descaler (descaling liquid), pour the mixture into the water tank.
2. Make sure there is no capsule in the machine.
3. Place a large bowl under the dosing head to catch the diluted descaling and lime residues 4. Fill the water tank with water up to the maximum level mixed with descaling solution, ensure the solution is fully dissolved.
5. Press the lungo button to run descaling water while brewing coffee normally, repeat several times until the tank is empty.
6. Repeat the process to run another tank of water mixed with descaling solution.
7. Repeat the process to rinse the internal circuit with a tank of fresh water (without descaling solution) to fully clean the internal circuit.

Cleaning:
- Risk of electric shock. Never immerse the device or any part of it. Make sure to unplug the machine before cleaning.
- Do not use strong cleaning agents or solvent cleaners
- Do not use sharp objects, brushes, or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not place in a dishwasher.

Holistic cleaning:
- Dry with a fresh and clean towel, cloth, paper and reassemble all parts.
Regularly clean the coffee outlet and the inside of the machine with a damp cloth.
