Important to know beforehand
This kit works only with Windows. The lighting is intended for use via a Windows computer or Windows laptop with software installation.
This product does not work independently directly on a TV.
If you want to use the effect on a television, the TV must be connected as an external display to a Windows PC or laptop.

Software required
For correct operation, installation and configuration of compatible software is required, such as Ambibox or Prismatik. Without proper software setup, the kit will not work as intended. The product page explicitly mentions Ambibox and Prismatik as recommended software.
Installation note
After installation, it may happen that the lighting does not respond correctly immediately. In most cases, this is not a defect but a setting that still needs to be adjusted, such as the correct COM port, driver or zone setting. The current product text also states that the USB port must be visible as CH340 (COM) for correct recognition.

Quick guide
- Attach the LED strip behind your monitor or screen
- Connect the controller and USB cable
- Install the software on a Windows PC or Windows laptop
- Select the device as Adalight
- Choose the correct COM port
- Check that the status shows Connected
- Then set the capture zones for the correct light display

Frequently asked questions
Does this work directly on a TV?
No, not independently. Only via a Windows computer or Windows laptop. TV use is recommended when the video signal from the computer is routed to the TV and the TV is used as a monitor.
Does this work on Mac?
Explicitly "Windows only".
The colours appear white or faded
Adjust the gamma settings in the software.
The lighting does not respond properly
Check if the correct software is installed, if the correct COM port is selected and if the device is correctly set as Adalight.
Additional note
If not all LEDs work correctly immediately after installation, or colours appear too white or faded, this is usually solvable via the software settings. Always first check the installation, the selected COM port and the configuration of the capture zones.
