With the DrPhone AirLink Pro you can easily make a wired audio source wireless. Use the adapter to send audio from, for example, a TV, laptop, PC, game console or in-flight entertainment system to a Bluetooth headphone or speaker. You can also use the AirLink Pro to receive Bluetooth audio and play it through an existing audio system with an AUX connection.

The compact adapter supports TX mode, RX mode and Broadcast/Auracast mode, allowing you to use it flexibly at home, on the go or while travelling.

3-in-1 functionality

The AirLink Pro combines three functions in one compact Bluetooth audio adapter.

TX mode – transmit

Use TX mode when you want to wirelessly transmit audio from a wired source. Think of a TV, PC, laptop, game console or in-flight entertainment system with a suitable audio output. The AirLink Pro then sends the sound to a Bluetooth headphone or speaker.

RX mode – receive

Use RX mode when you want to receive Bluetooth audio from, for example, a smartphone, tablet or laptop. The AirLink Pro passes the sound on to a speaker, amplifier, car radio or audio system with AUX input.

Broadcast/Auracast mode – multiple receivers

The broadcast function is intended to send audio to multiple receivers simultaneously. This function works differently from normal Bluetooth pairing and requires compatible equipment.

Important about Broadcast and Auracast

The AirLink Pro supports Auracast broadcast, but this function does not work the same as standard Bluetooth.

For normal use with one Bluetooth headphone or speaker, one AirLink Pro is sufficient. You then use the normal Bluetooth mode, for example TX mode to transmit audio.

If you want to use the broadcast function, you need one of the following situations:

• Multiple Auracast/LE Audio-compatible receivers
• Or multiple AirLink Pro adapters, where one AirLink Pro is used as a transmitter and the other AirLink Pros are used as receivers

If you use regular Bluetooth headphones or speakers without Auracast/LE Audio support, true broadcast does not work with just one AirLink Pro.

For broadcast use, we therefore recommend using multiple AirLink Pro adapters. For a practical broadcast setup, at least 3 units make sense: one transmitter and two receivers.

Fast and stable Bluetooth connection

The DrPhone AirLink Pro is equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 and supports LE Audio. This makes the adapter suitable for modern Bluetooth audio applications and allows it to quickly connect to compatible devices.

The range is up to 15 metres without obstacles. In practice, the range may be lower due to walls, furniture, interference or the Bluetooth quality of the paired device.

Thanks to the compact size, you can easily take the AirLink Pro with you in your bag, jacket pocket or accessory case. The adapter weighs only 14 grams and is made of sturdy ABS material.

Rechargeable via USB-C

The AirLink Pro has a built-in 250mAh battery and is charged via USB-C. The charging time is approximately 2 hours.

Preferably use a standard 5V USB charger. Do not use a powerful fast charger with PD/QC unless necessary, to avoid unnecessary strain on the battery.
