6 different protection functions: The battery charger has several protection functions. It includes overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, over temperature protection, short circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and discharge protection.

1. Overvoltage protection: the charger uses an intelligent chip to automatically regulate the voltage to prevent overcharging the battery and extend battery life.

2. Overcurrent protection: the charger automatically regulates the output current during charging to stabilise the battery.

5. Reverse polarity protection: the internal chip of the charger has an intelligent protection function, so the battery will not work if installed with reverse polarity and will charge normally after correct reinstallation.

6. Over discharge: The protection prevents battery cells from overdischarging. It interrupts the discharge current when the cell voltage reaches the over-discharge threshold.
